Our Story
We met in August 2011. One of us really liked flying and the other one, well, really didn't - a match made in heaven. One first date in the air and one chocolate cake later, we became inseparable. The rest, as they say is history!

Dating back to 1761, Poole Guildhall is a Grade II listed building and the the town hall for the local area. It is now most commonly used for weddings and civil partnerships.

English Oak Vineyard was planted in 2007 and is a working vineyard. It is located just outside Poole in an area called Lytchett Mattravers. The barn dating back to 1823 has been restored and transformed into a stunning wedding venue!

The Food
A variety of delicious canapes will be offered to you when you arrive at English Oak Vineyard.
For our Wedding Breakfast, our starter is Italian inspired. For our main course, we are offering a classic British Wedding Breakfast for our guests. Our dessert is “Key Lime” inspired by our engagement in Key West!
Children will be provided with a menu similar to the adult menu. Please let us know about dietary requirements on your RSVP per guest.
Our evening “nibbles” will be handed out to all our guests from 8:30pm.

Una varietà di deliziose tartine vi saranno offerte quando arriverete all'English Oak Vineyard.
Per il pranzo nuziale l'antipasto è di ispirazione Italiana. Come portata principale, offriamo ai nostri ospiti una classica colazione nuziale Britannica. Il nostro dessert è "Key Lime" ispirato al nostro impegno a Key West!
Ai bambini verrà fornito un menù simile al menù degli adulti. Fateci sapere le esigenze dietetiche sul vostro RSVP per ospite.

The Bar
We are planning an open bar from a select drinks menu. We have a variety of Italian wines and beers available during the day as well as Rum, Gin, Vodka and Pimm's!
In the evening, our horsebox bar will offer a select variety of local wines, beers, spirits and our Signature Cocktails! Soft drinks will also be available as well as water, tea and coffee.

Details
What is the dress code?
Dress to impress! Our dress code is formal but we would also like you to be comfortable. For the men, you may like to wear suits and ties. For the ladies, your finest evening or cocktail dresses. You may also wish to use the colours from our invitation as inspiration for your outfits!
June tends to be a cooler spring month in the UK, so unless we have an unusual warm spell, we suggest a coat for the evening and in case of wet weather. We also recommend suitable footwear as the venue has wonderful grassy areas and the vineyard to explore as well as decorative gravel and a mini amphitheater!
Are Children and Plus Ones Invited?
Due to the size of the venue we can only invite children of guests coming from abroad and those who are part of the wedding party for the day. Invites will be for those named only.
What about dietary requirements?
We will do all we can to accommodate your dietary needs in our menu. You can tell us what these are as well as any allergies in your RSVP. Please note the day will be free from most nuts.

The best gift you can give us is you and we do not expect any gifts. However, if you would like to contribute towards our future there is a place at the reception to leave cards and gifts, or if preferred, our details are below:

Transport
How do I get there?
As we have two venues, we are providing a coach between Poole Guildhall and the wedding reception at English Oak Vineyard for all guests who are not driving. Please note this will be a one-way journey. There maybe some limited space for a return. We will confirm this with you individually nearer the time. If you prefer to drive on the day, please let us know and how many guests you will be taking. This is so that we can arrange the coach for the remaining guests. We recommend booking taxi’s to take you home at the end of the night for those that prefer to arrange their own transport.

If you stay in central Bournemouth, we will provide all your transport on the day. We will confirm this with you individually.

The venue is situated on a no through road in the heart of Poole Old Town. Guests who are driving are required to park in the nearby multi storey car-park and walk a short way round the corner to the hall.
